 2    1|     wrote the Gulshan i Rāz, or Secret Rose Garden, as a reply
 3    1|         originally done to keep secret their mystic love, lest
 4    1| describe to the uninitiated the secret love of the mystic for the
 5    1|         into lasting songs. The secret gushes out from my heart.
 6    1|      the heart's adoration.~THE SECRET ROSE GARDEN~It is nearly
 7    1|         there, lingering in the secret paths and plucking the scented~
 8    I|       heart.~But this is a deep secret hidden, alas! from me.~. . .
 9    I|     down of His cheek holds the secret of life.~If only you can
10  VII|      states,~Beyond dreaming of secret rooms, of lights and miracles.~
11   IX|        finding entrance to that secret chamber,~He loves and is
12  XIV|         slothful ignorance.~The secret chamber of my soul~Was illumined
