I| devised to name~ Procreant atoms, matter, seeds of things,~
I| For each its procreant atoms, could things have~ Each
I| NOTHING EXISTS per se EXCEPT ATOMS~ AND THE VOID~ ~ But, now
    I| go on.~ CHARACTER OF THE ATOMS~ ~ Bodies, again,~ Are partly
II| old,~ From the primeval atoms; for the same~ Primordial
II| powers~ Of the primeval atoms, are stirred up~ By impulse
II| up~ By impulse of those atoms' unseen blows,~ And these
II| what the speed to matter's atoms given~ Thou mayest in few,
II| advance.~ But the primordial atoms with their old~ Simple solidity,
II| sky.~ ~ Nor to pursue the atoms one by one,~ To see the
II| well aware of this:~ The atoms, as their own weight bears
II| work. And so I say,~ The atoms must a little swerve at
   II| suppose~ That same-shaped atoms through men's nostrils pierce~
II| and condensed~ Must be of atoms among themselves more hooked,~
   II| as 'twere~ By branch-like atoms - of which sort the chief~
II| since 'tis fluid, smooth its atoms are~ And round, with painful
II| Be yet co-linked with atoms intertwined,~ That thus
II| besides,~ At least those atoms whence derives their power~
II| eaten down,~ Go sundered atoms, suited to each creature,~
II| each unlike,~ So must their atoms be in shape unlike -~ Not
II| all made up~ Of different atoms. Further, since the seeds~
II| eyes~ Are gendered of white atoms, or the black~ Of a black
II| then commixed anew,~ Some atoms rearranged, and some withdrawn,~
II| Tis thine to know the atoms need not colour,~ But render
II| rest~ Deep in the eternal atoms of the world.~ ~ Why, even
II| cast away~ Such numerous atoms as to cause a waste~ Greater
III| since, indeed, 'tis made~ Of atoms not so smooth, so fine,
III| particles minute,~ Made up from atoms smaller much than those~
VI| When these primordial atoms of the bolt~ Have fallen
VI| bolt~ Have fallen upon the atoms of these things~ Precisely
VI| Precisely where the intertwined atoms~ Are held together. And,
VI| old~ Unto the procreant atoms of the world.~ Now come,
VI| said before:~ In earth are atoms of things of every sort;~
VI| two)~ Hath taken in some atoms of the brass,~ Then do the
