11   III|          life remains.~ Therefore a vital heat and wind there is~
12   III|          grants ye everything,~ But vital sense and exhalation hot.~
13   III|         from their earliest age the vital motions,~ Even when still
14   III|             the trunk and draws the vital air.~ Even when deprived
15   III|         itself~ Sans body, give the vital motions forth;~ Nor, then,
16   III|          are unwound,~ And when the vital breath is forced without,~
17   III|               And since we mark the vital sense to be~ In the whole
18   III|             Keeps on the ground the vital countenance~ And open eyes,
19   III|             losing limb by limb the vital sense;~ First nails and
20   III|         ground 'tis kept secure~ In vital forces - either because
21    IV|        snarls of self-deceit.~ SOME VITAL FUNCTIONS~ ~  In these affairs~
22    VI|        given the power to take~ The vital winds of air into his mouth,~
