 1     I|          Through leafy homes of birds and greening plains,~ Kindling
 2     I|         woodlands echo with new birds;~ Hence cattle, fat and
 3     I|        That ever the variegated birds reveal~ The spots or stripes
 4    II|     lands, and all the breed of birds abroad~ Flit round the trackless
 5    II|           And all the breeds of birds - both those that teem~
 6    II|       beasts~ And mighty-winged birds. Thus Nature changes~ All
 7    II|      fish, and winged frames of birds.~ Wherefore confess we must
 8    IV|      fleet the divers tribes of birds and vex~ With sudden wings
 9    IV|       Nor otherwise can cattle, birds, wild beasts,~ And sheep
10     V|         ones and parti-coloured birds,~ Hatched out in spring-time,
11     V|        mighty mountains and all birds~ Aerial with many a varied
12     V|        flying race, the dappled birds,~ Hawks, ospreys, sea-gulls,
13     V|        Struggle and strain. And birds there are which change~
14     V|     imitate the liquid notes of birds~ Was earlier far 'mongst
15    VI|       they noxious be~ Unto all birds. For when above those spots~
16    VI|        In horizontal flight the birds have come,~ Forgetting to
17    VI|      air betwixt the ground and birds,~ Leaving well-nigh a void.
18    VI|        In horizontal flight the birds have come,~ Forthwith their
19    VI| Unburied on ground, the race of birds and beasts~ Would or spring
