 1     I|  with public peace~ To aid mortality; since he who rules~ The
 2     I|   Fear holds dominion over mortality~ Only because, seeing in
 3    II|  guide of life,~ Persuades mortality and leads it on,~ That,
 4    II|  poop,~ Giving a lesson to mortality~ To shun the ambush of the
 5    II|    of all joy~ Created for mortality; herself~ Gave the sweet
 6   III|   As I have taught, of its mortality.~ So surely will a fact
 7   III| empty dread of gods~ Urges mortality, and each one fears~ Such
 8   III|   end~ Of life abideth for mortality;~ Death's not to shun, and
 9    IV|    And thus allow for poor mortality.~ ~ Nor sighs the woman
10     V|      Ceres established for mortality~ The grain, and Bacchus
11     V|  now~ Would generations of mortality~ Leave the sweet light of
12     V|  rites whence still a poor mortality~ Is grafted that quaking
13     V|    Hath carried by degrees mortality~ Out onward to the deep,
