 1     I|     alone hast power with public peace~ To aid mortality; since
 2     I|      lips soft syllables to win~ Peace for the Romans, glorious
 3     I|       the Romans, glorious Lady, peace!~ For in a season troublous
 4    II|          in long tranquillity of peace~ Untroubled ages and a serene
 5   III|      aught~ May ever pluck their peace of mind away.~ But nowhere
 6     V|          the savage beasts,~ And peace they sought and their abundant
 7     V|       deeds~ The bonds of common peace to pass a life~ Composed
 8     V|          master eye~ And mind at peace. For when we gaze aloft~
 9     V| elephants,~ Doth he not seek the peace of gods with vows,~ And
10    VI|          gods and alien to their peace,~ Then often will the holy
11    VI|        thou able be~ In tranquil peace of mind to take and know~
