 2     I|   differs both in sense~ And ring of sound - so much the elements~
 3    II|     see them ev'rywhere wand'ring, all dispersed~ In their
 4   III|    fails the voice away, and ring the ears,~ Mists blind the
 5     V|   the sun,~ Quaking and wand'ring in shadows of the night;~
 6    VI|     Into the vacuum, and the ring itself~ By reason thereof
 7    VI|    borne along,~ Without the ring itself do follow after.~
 8    VI|     That air in front of the ring, and space between~ Is emptied
 9    VI|     therefore drubs upon the ring sans doubt~ And shakes it
10    VI| inside....~ ~ In sooth, that ring is thither borne along~
