1    II|     fires of lightning more can penetrate~ Than these of ours from
2    IV|      Through objects whatsoever penetrate~ And ooze, as 'twere, through
3    IV|      Either because they do not penetrate,~ Or since they have free
4    IV|      through body's pores~ They penetrate, and inwardly stir up~ The
5    IV| powerless~ To rub off aught, or penetrate and pass~ With body entire
6     V|        tardily,~ Nor easily can penetrate that air~ Nor yet emerge
7    VI|        water and air~ Deeply to penetrate from the open sea,~ And
8    VI|         of fire~ That's wont to penetrate even strength of iron.~
9    VI|        sounds do into one place penetrate,~ Into another flavours
