 6   VI|    and of kings, the Cynthian god~Plucked at mine ear and
 7 VIII|   beard, nor deemst that any god~For mortal doings hath regard
 8 VIII|        Uneven numbers are the god’s delight.~“Draw from the
 9    X|      our own eyes beheld~Pan, god of Arcady, with blood-red
10    X|    find healing thus,~Or that god soften at a mortal’s grief!~
