 1 Canons,  2 |     these schismatics or by lay persons, are to lack all validity
 2 Canons,  3 |     done with regard to certain persons through the needs of the
 3 Canons,  7 |        abbots or ecclesiastical persons, for the installation of
 4 Canons,  7 |  enthronement of ecclesiastical persons or the institution of priests,
 5 Canons,  8 |  conferred within six months on persons who are able to administer
 6 Canons,  9 |  churches from the hands of lay persons; that they admit those under
 7 Canons,  9 |    tithes from the hands of lay persons, and we even order them
 8 Canons,  14|    church from the hands of lay persons 11 , without the authority
 9 Canons,  14| faithful. Further we forbid lay persons, who hold tithes to the
10 Canons,  14|        any way 12  to other lay persons. If anyone receives them
11 Canons,  15|       in certain places certain persons called deans are appointed
12 Canons,  16|       in certain churches a few persons, sometimes not so much for
13 Canons,  17|  patronage arises among several persons, and it has not been settled
14 Canons,  24|  Therefore we declare that such persons should be cut off from the
